Razer is a veteran when it comes to anything gaming, and they’re well known for their gaming peripheral. So at every CES we expect them to show up with something cool and innovative, and of-course they didn’t disappoint this year either. Their latest laptop is a thick and bulky prototype, unlike their current slim and minimalistic edge lineup. But the reason for that 1.5 thickness is they called project Valerie which comes with ‘Three’ screens. That’s right, there’s three 17-inch screens packed into this laptop, which according to Razer is the “first portable laptop with three built-in-monitors”. And we’re inclined to agree with them.
The two additional screens pop-out from either side of the primary display when you open the laptop, You don’t need to do anything. It comes with GTX 1080 and Nvidia’s G-Synch technology.
This is still a concept however so don’t expect this thing in market anytime soon but this is defintely something on which you should keep your eye out for. Valerie was impressive enough that two of them were actually stolen from the booth at CES!!
More about project Valerie
the new Project Valerie is bigger and bolder. Its 17-inch display is packed into a pretty thick case, but only because there are two additional 17-inch displays hidden in inside the lid. Razer says this is, “the world’s first portable laptop with three built-in monitors.” Which seems to be true, even if it’s only because no one has thought to try an idea like this before. The two extra screens pop out from either side of the main display, via what Razer calls “an automated deployment mechanism,” and snap into place without needing user adjustment.
Fortunately for Razer, they were later found for sale in China for a whooping $21,700.
That’s almost 15 lakhs if you’re wondering
