Android Basics Which Would Help A Beginner To Sort The Things Out

Android is the most loved operating system. But there are many people out there using iOS since the very beginning of their smartphone experience. I found many of them finding it somewhat difficult to cope up with their new  devices. So this article is to help all of them to make them use their new device like a pro.

It’s is an open source developed by Google inc.(previously by Android inc.) based on linux kernel for smartphones. It is currently the largest used smartphone OS in the market. It’s latest version(as per on the date of publishing of the article) is 7.1.2 i.e., android Nougat.

Setting it up….

Let’s start off with knowing how to set your device up running on android OS. First of all let it boot up. Complete the initial setup by choosing your preferred language and logging into your gmail account. You will also go through choosing your wifi network or using your mobile network as internet source.

Tip: Make sure you enable backup in settings so as to avoid any data loss further.

It’s a feature packed operating system with more features than any other smartphone operating system including most advanced google assistant, customization through 3rd party softwares, multi window, vast choice of mobile phones and availability of mobile phones in every mobile range. You can completely change your android looks with themes, launchers and icon packs. Maps and GPS are there to help you get out of any location you’re lost in or even reaching any address that too by avoiding traffic and traffic lights.

After you become used to it and want to discover more and more, you can go forward for rooting and further flashing ROMs. These things would be explained further in other articles so stay tuned.
